Questions
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to give my name or contact details to see quotes?
No. The tool needs gender, birth date, self-rated health, tobacco status, amount, and term. Those six items generate quotes from insurers. Your name, address, and detailed health stay private unless you decide to apply.
Are the monthly prices shown the price I will pay?
They're the rates that each carrier provided for the health class you told us. The carrier's underwriting team confirms or adjusts your class after you apply; the actual monthly cost is set then. Everything on this page is illustrative and not a price guarantee.
What happens when I click Apply?
You enter your name, and we create the application from the quote you selected. Then you're taken to the carriers' secure form where you complete it. You can leave and come back anytime, and all signatures are digital. Susman Insurance Agency, a licensed California agent (License 0B75129), handles the application.
Will I need a medical exam?
It's based on the carrier, your requested amount, and your answers. Many companies today use immediate underwriting for eligible applicants, deciding without a physical exam. Each quote tells you whether an exam is required, might happen, or is not needed.
Is a longer term better?
A term pays out if you pass away during that timeframe—like 20 or 30 years—then ends. Costs rise substantially if you renew afterward. Pick the years that match when your family would actually need your income, and longer terms let you lock in lower rates. Use the tool to compare 10-, 15-, 20-, 25- and 30-year options.
Does this site sell my information?
No. The quote form isn't asking for contact info, we don't sell or share visitor information, and how we count traffic doesn't use cookies. Go to our privacy page to see exactly what's collected and by whom.
